About the Conference
HighEdWebDev is one of the few professional conferences tailored specifically for Web developers working in the field of higher education. We are proud that our conference has always been presented for highed ed Web professionals and by higher ed Web professionals.
In 2004, the HighEdWedDev conference represented the merging of two organizations dedicated to promoting the design and development of Web-based systems in higher education. The Higher Education Web Professionals Association (HighEdWeb, since 1999) is proud to continue the tradition of WebdevShare (since 1996) into the future.
HighEdWebDev 2007 marks the fourth annual conference for this new, merged group, and we continue to build on our past success. We continue to grow in terms of number of attendees and the program of sessions offered. In 2006, we outgrew our facilities at Rochester Institute for Technology and headed downtown. You will find conference sessions in a variety of tracks, plus pre- and post-conference workshops, new product demos from our corporate sponsors, and ample networking opportunities with your fellow Web professionals from universities, colleges, and community colleges around the country.
