If your presentation is accepted, please be aware you will be required to provide the following:

  1. Handouts for your presentation, submitted by September 1, 2007. We publish the handouts in a book for the convenience of our attendees. Handouts can include many different types of things like an outline of the presentation, resources, contact info, etc. We are happy to supply samples of various types of handouts to help you with this process.
  2. Electronic presentation files (usually a PowerPoint file) to post on the conference website after the conference, submitted by October 17, 2007. This can be sent to us prior to the conference or can be collected at the conference itself.

Additional Notes:

  1. If your presentation is accepted, you will receive a $100 registration discount for presenting at the conference. Each presenter receives only one discount, even if you are presenting more than once.
  2. There is a lunch for presenters and program committee members at the beginning of the conference. If you are in Rochester by Sunday's lunch, it is a good time to meet other presenters and your program committee. Attendees participating in pre-conference workshops are also invited to this lunch.

To Propose a Presentation:

  1. Create a brief abstract (250 to 500 words) of your presentation for consideration. This abstract should be a presentation overview, and will be used in the conference program as a description should your presentation be accepted. NOTE: No formal paper is required for this proposal or presentation.
  2. Indicate which presentation format you plan to use.
  3. Include your full contact information: Name, school/business affiliation, professional title, phone number, e-mail and fax number.
  4. Please provide a brief biography of yourself, including a description of your professional experience. This will be used in the conference program, should your presentation be accepted.
  5. Submit your proposal(s)online at: Submit your Proposal Online.
